Alex spent his formative years fishing for carp, but after becoming disillusioned with that scene he turned his attention to targeting the vast array of species that inhabit the estuaries and coastal waters of the South West. Mainly targeting specimen sized fish throughout the seasons, with Rays and Gilthead Bream being among his favourites.

Alex has worked within the Fishing Tackle trade for twelve years, with many of the years being spent working on the Sakuma brand and more recently the lure brand Red Gill. Through work and fishing Alex has made a lot of friends that are at the top of there game and he will bring you an insight into how they go about there fishing.
