Angling Charter Types

The Thames Estuary is world famous for it's intricate maze of sand banks which takes years of experience to learn and with 20 years under my belt as a professional Charter Boat skipper with no break in between.... (I can only think of one other Skipper that can boast the same) I can honestly say that the fishing is normally superb, and we get you right on the fish.

The fishing on the year calendar starts in January with mostly Cod on the menu with as always the odd Thornback Ray for good measure and some Dabs, as we go into February the spring run of Cod is in full flight and more and more Thornies start to show, that kind of runs much the same as we go into March, and as April comes along we start to see the first of the Dog fish arrive still a few Codling and many more Thornies, and now things really start to hot up as we move into May the first of the beloved Smoothounds start to show, along with a few Bass, Codling now all but gone, Thorne Backs in great numbers, and after a month of warming up on Hounds,...... Tope! arrive then you know summer has arrived along with some now great Mackerel fishing everything is on the menu.

Cacheflow is a very fast 12 metre (38') Interceptor powered by a 450hp V8 Caterpillar and will cruise at nearly 20knts and tops out at approx 25 knts, so in nearly all cases we are a hard boat to catch! with this speed available to our customers it means simply that you get to the fishing grounds that much faster and usually get to pick the best angling spots, we take only up to Max 8 anglers and with me and Nicola on board that's 10 persons, we are licensed for 12 but we never go to the Max just for profit..... and as an added advantage Cacheflow boasts the only woman professional skipper in the uk who is on every trip so that's nice for lady anglers, and there is a spotlessly clean flushing toilet on board, so no more embarrassing moments ladies.
