Firstly I must apologies for the lack of updates over the past few weeks on WSF. We have had a series of network and broadband access problems, which has limited the amount of updates we could complete. In addition to this, we have rolled out our new navigation system on the Webzine, which has taken some time away from article updates.
Needless to say we have some stirring new features to add over the next couple of weeks, so keep your eyes peeled for those! Normal service will be resumed next week!
WSF Navigation
The more observant of you will have noticed that we have a new webzine navigation system! The new navigation is a lot bolder than before and also includes links to topic sections once again. Whilst SWAT is still an active page – SWAT sections (Shore, Boat, Tackle etc.) are now individual sections once more and easily navigable from the top (black) navbar. If sections have sub categories we have introduced a subnav bar (in light blue) under the main navbar. Making it easier to work between the sub sections in each category.
We have also redesigned each of the right hand sidebars on the content and category pages. These now include links back to the forums on topics relating to that category. For all regional mark categories, these now link directly to the latest threads from that area of the country.
LureAngler.co.uk
If you have been paying attention to our Facebook page and read the latest WSF Newsletter you will have seen we have launched a brand new forum for Lure Anglers. This forum is designed to be open for all, a place where you can share your thoughts, experiences and ideas on all things Lure Angling. We have some exciting plans for this new web site and our aim is to make it the number one lure fishing destination in the UK within two years.
I would like to thank Bad Panda main man, Jamie Soons and all round lure angling guru, Danny Parkins for their help in moderating the new site.

WCF X 2
In addition to the new LureAngler.co.uk forum we have launched two new freshwater web sites. WorldCarpFishing.com and WorldCoarseFishing.com. These two new sites are dedicated to all things carp and freshwater in general. So if you like a bit of coarsy, carpy action – head on over to the new sites.
That is it from me for this week. I hope you all have a successful weekends fishing no matter where you are in the world!
Tight Lines,
Mike Thrussell Jnr
