Seafishing around Kovalam, Poovar beach

Hi,

Going to this area next week. Will be fishing from schore with flyrod.
There are some backwaters and deltas, but mostly beaches.

Anyone with any ideas what I can run into here...? And anyone who have been fishing the area?

Feel a bit lost, and on my own here...

I guess from your post time is now very short. Have you perhaps tried looking at the Indian forum on the http://www.tripadvisor.com site? Just tried a search using Kerala, fishing and came up with a reasonable number of previous posts.
