Hi all

am off to Western Australia again in a couple of months and am after some advice.

I have fished there before both boat and shore and although we did really well from the boats the shore was a different matter. The fishing was very good and we caught a fair few species but we couldn't get away from the bl**dy Blowies !!

We fished from Mandurah in the south up to The Hillary's using pretty much everything for bait from Shrimp to fish baits but the Blowies pretty much trashed any bait we cast out. We couldn't find a bait that they weren't interested in and to be honest it really did spoil the sport. Any help would be appreciated.

On a slightly different note does anyone know of any Fishing safari's available out there ? We saw a couple advertised but as we where there in March/April most of the Boats and guides had dissappeared to the Abrolhos Islands for the Marlin season...again any info would be great.

Many thanks.

G'Day Norin,

I am a private fishing charter broker. With many original and unique contacts I can plan, organise and impliment the fishing adventure of a lifetime vertually anywhere in Australia, luxury to budget. I have only just read your post and maybe next time I could help you whilst fishing in Australia. I can also get cheap Ashes fishing packages.

An example of a current discount luxury fishing charter offer which was brokered for a client recently is detailed below:
Kangaroo Island 'Western River' 5 Day Deep Sea & Game Fishing Adventure in a State of the Art 44ft Vessel with 6 people onboard
Standard Cost 5 Day AUD$14500 including luxury beachfront 4 1/2* Accommodation
Brokered Cost 5 Day AUD$ 9900 including luxury beachfront 4 1/2* Accommodation
Transfers to and from Kangaroo Island AUD$1100 extra
The fishing and views are to die for.

The above charter adventure concentrates on remote pristine reef structures of Southern Australia which are rarely fished due to their geographical location. The 70lb+ Bluefin tuna also school at this location between April and May which adds plenty of spice to this unique aussie fishing adventure. The pots must also be pulled before the vessel is docked - who could pass on a couple of sweet 2lb red lobsters.
There is many variables you could add on request but the savings are quite obvious and with expert fishing guide 'Peter Charles' on board the trophy 60lb+ Blue Gropers, Samson and Snapper are within your reach. Don't forget this is the home of the Great White Shark as well and with 5 days on the water you had better keep an eye out for this 20ft eating machine, they are an awesome site in the flesh.
For further touring guideance, pristine pictures and general information of this regal aussie adventure or another cheaper charter freely contact fishing charter brokers australia or fcba at contact email address fcba@iprimus.com.au

Good fishing to all and best regards
