ive been interested in giving it a go in my patch off south essex once i can afford it, just wondered if there were any clubs or groups near by?:marinheir

Dont know bout clubs or groups up there but join anglersafloat and ask on there if there kayak fishing folk in the area

Hi Tom, a few of us in Essex, I'm in Braintree, there a couple more lads in Canvey, one lad in Chelmsford and a couple more in Clacton. Were all on the Anglers Afloat site too.

Thanks for that essexbuoy, the site will be a great help. Do you find it quite producive round this way? ive got the itch to try for sum big mullet in the crouch once i get a few quid together for my yak.:fishing1:

I haven't tried the crouch yet although I want to have a go at the mullet over at North Fambridge as you can get close to the mooring without being chucked off :bye1:

HJLT is just thinking about setting up, he lives close to Fambridge and already uses a yak to access some marks.

What are you hoping to get yakwise ?
