Hi, can anyone recommend a not to expensive 11ft'ish deadbaiting rod for fishing for pike from the shore, ringed for a fixed spool.

Many thanks

A heavy carp rod will do, try looking at fosters of birmingham, or wmac.co.uk.

Try buying a spod rod, these are well suited for casting heavy spods so deadbaits will be no problems. Plus they have a heavy test curve which will enable you to set hooks well. If your feeling brave load your reel with braid, however hook shakeouts are more likely.
I use 3 x nash outlaw spod rods at 4lb tc, they cost £40 ish in a sale.
Good luck
