kayaking in eastbourne

A few of us guys from sussexkayakfishing.co.uk are thinking of having a meet in eastbourne and i was wondering if anyone can help with the best place to launch and fish in early april ,i had a look down at the marina and noticed theres no launching from there.

I find the easiest place to launch is from the beach by Pevensey Bay Sailing Club (to the left of the Harbour) or at the Beach near Spray watersports (a bit closer to town)... failing that, Pevensey Bay itself is quite accessible... some of the beaches are quite steep due to the diggers pushing up the shingle but i manage ok on my own...
