Okay we are booked on Sea Otter 2, on Sunday, 22nd of June, 2008, from Whitby :fishing:

This is W.S.F. forum member Big Cod's charter boat. The cost per person is £42 for what is sure to be a great day afloat.

What I need now is a crew :huh:. Could you all send me a cheque for the full amount of £42 per person, those with booked on next to their names have already done so. Any problems give me a pm.

Yes I have seen that last night and need to confirm the price with Paul, I must admit I was going off the price originally stated by Seaanglersofsunderland which was £40, also it looks like he may take out 12 anglers instead of just ten. More places are a possibility.

I will ring him at the weekend or he may reply through this thread, just to confirm the price. He did send me a pm the other day telling me the trip was definately still on as long as I was able to get a crew together.

The details for the trip have now been sorted, the new price is £42 per person, with ten anglers only getting a place on the boat.

The small price increase is due to the soaring cost of fuel.

I will be in touch with all those interested on March the 20th regarding payment.

At the moment I still have had no reply from two of the original people interested, if no reply is received by the 20th of March, a couple of places will be up for grabs. Twisty is first in line for one of these places and then Medlars mate.

Theres gonna be some big cod caught on this trip. My neighbour was telling me he went on a works "bonding trip" last year all paid for. Lads who have never fished before used rods off the boat. Given free jigs and bobs your uncle. My mate said he caught that many Cod he had to leave most on the boat because the hotel did not have room in the freezer.

We have had one angler drop out of this trip, meaning we now have one spare place on the boat so the next person in line to be asked is Fluffy 69. I have sent you a pm about this.

Because time is fairly short for this trip I can only give you Fluffy, one week to reply. You have until May 23rd, unfortunately if I don't hear anything from you by then, I will ask the next person in reserve, who is W.R.C.

I have had a reply from Fluffy69 and he told me that he wants the place on the boat. I am waiting a little while longer for his cheque to arrive as I know he works away, he has until June 13th and then I will ask W.R.C. if he wants a place on Sea Otter 2.

I am going to pay all cheques into my bank account on Monday, 2nd June. This is for the boat payment.

If for any reason the trip is cancelled you will have the choice of either re-booking at a later date or a full refund will be sent back to you by cheque.

Just spoken to Sea Otter Skipper Paul regarding baits. He said its not worth taking worms as most fish are coming to Jiggers & Shads. Maybe worth taking Squid thats all.

Things aint looking to good on forcast seen three different reports pretty much the same wind wsw 10mph 5ft swell and increasing, changing to esse 10 to 15 mph. any one else seen anthing and when can we expect to know if called off as im off on saturday morning:nerd:

Just been looking at weather reports, BBC has winds up to 28mph, CX weather has up to 26mph later in the day & another has 15mph for Whitby. Looking distinctly dodgy for the trip if the first two are anything near correct.

I have to ring him at 6.30pm for the final decision and will then ring each one of you soon after.

Cheers Dave, bloody British Summers, never fail to dissapoint. One of the reasons my brother & i got rid of our boat a couple of years back.
I for one would rather we rebook the trip as have never fished out of Whitby. Still hoping for a miracle though.
