WD on your PB carp went myself wednesday my first time fishing a canal had previously stuck to carp puddles and done ok,fished with maggots biteless 4 2 hours then switched to lobworm and hooked into something decent wich i lost, next drop had a lovely hard fighting chub of around 3lb,shall def try rivers n canals again as after a while fishing man made pools you kinda know what your going to land if anything,tc tight lines.

congratulations on your pb carp.never had one until last year, then had 5 out of the river,3 of which were double figures.would imagine most rivers have good carp stocks now, especially after the summer floods:laugh:
well done have you tried the fenrod yet they are up to around 30lb there with coy in the 20's
