Hiya, Anyone know where I can get hold of a couple of 16 foot Loch Style GRP boats....been looking all over for them....no success yet...

They are for my local clubs water..:) which has some of the best Rainbow/Brownie fishing in Central Scotland..:):)

Even links to suitable boats woulfd be a great help.

Cheers guys..:)

is that the same boats they use on fad and mentieth?

if so then a wee mail to either fishery might help you out.

just a thought.

Hiya, yep ,the very same...but we dont want brand new, as they cost a fortune....among the "fleet" we have a couple of Clinker boats, and a couple of Coulams, same as Rutland boats......they do a great job. We dont really want to go and spend thousands on a new boat ,not just now anyway..:) thats why we're looking for second hand...:)

Thanks for your input tho, I probobly will mail them to see if they have any for sale..:)

Hiya, Well, I was lucky enough to be the first angler on the new boat today, ...tho', I only lasted 45 mins,,,totally unprepared for the cold westerly wind....should have known better too :)

The boat handled like a dream, and drifted perfectly, it was light to steer and row.......the club might now be buying a new one..:)

But, in that 45 mins, had 2 nice rainbows to 3lbs, and a load of pulls..:) taken on a Green Fraggle ?? with a slow sink line...had loads of bites on the "hang" too....:)

Looking forward to the weekend now..:)

Couple of wee pics of the pontoon that is being built...:):)
