Bringing rods into UAE

Hi guys

Will be leaving for my hols in abu dhabi next week and was just wondering what the situation was on bringing in a small telescopic rod in my hold luggage and a couple of lures ??

No problem at all. I've travelled in and out of Abu with rods and gear plenty of times. Getting a rod into the cabin can be a problem however.
