Did not realize that one of the moderators was a UK shore record holder…..Brand is the lucky sod that caught the cod of 44lb 8oz back in 1966.

Dab 2lb 8oz (1936)
Spurdog 16lb 12oz (1964)

the guy who holds the record for it.. he probably hunts the fisherman preying on breaking the record and he is swimming about in the sea.. and when he see's its a monster dab.. ( just a little bit smaller then jaws) he chops the line and poor old fisherman cries bout the 1 that got away.. and he record holder still smug in victory :D lol.. just a thought ...
