Sea Angler, Free Gifts.

As some of you read in the past, I subscribed to Sea Angler Magazine and had massive problems receiving the Free Gifts which came with the order - in fact I went over a year of letter writing and E-Mails to them without any gift, but finally after nearly fourteen months my gifts came. At the time I said that I would never buy Sea Angler Magazine again - what a hypocrite I am.

I bought a copy a couple weeks a go and saw a Free Rod and Reel Offer with a Subscription. So tentatively I subscribed again and this morning my Rod and reel turned up - brilliant offer and nice free gifts, no messing around either. Well done Sea Angler.:victory:

how did you pay for it cause i think i can mind reading for the free gift you need to pay a certain way?

I was given a subscription to Sea Angler for christmas,the free gift was a Daiwa Fleece which turned up before Christmas!! I was well pleased and so far the magazines have arrived in a timely fashion!.

By Direct Debit, which they have already taken.:)

I took out a subscription and got a letter saying sorry I wasn`t getting a free gift as they have run out.
I think I will stick to TSF.

I've had to phone magazine subscription centre this evening to find out when my free rod and reel is coming and i was told that one hadn't been ordered for me and they were very apologetic and would send one out as soon as! hhhmmmmm We'll see.
I paid for my 13 issues on a card as i didn't want the direct debit to run on without me realising about something else coming out of the bank every month.( i'll just renew subscription after 13 issues and go for the next freebie:spiteful:)
I was assured at time of payment that direct debit was not necessary , but i had to buy 13 issues.
I'll let you know if it turns up. Hope so as i probably wouldn't have paid up front like that.

I have had a subscription with Sea Angler for about 6 years, and they do not tell you that your next 12 months fees are due. It is taken automatically unless you advise them otherwise. I have been told in the past that if I cancel my subscription and start another one in order to receive the free gifts that are offered ,that I am not entitled to them

i subscribed and was supposed to get a free reel it never arrived after two months so rang the subs number and was told they had no more stock would i like the current offer i asked what it was and was told it was a rt spinning rod and a reel so i said yes and they have both arrived and am now well happy

I subscribe. Had problems with my first free gift, it was supposed to be a tackle bag & a flask. I ended up about 6 months later, with a choice of reels.
My last subscription, they phoned me up & asked what I wanted, bless them. Ended up with a petzel head lamp. I paid by direct debit on both occasions.

I havent had that problem. They sent me a letter telling me my subscription had run out, as usual I didnt take any notice, they rang me up & i renewed my subscription & still recieved the gift.
