going down to minehead with the family in july.just wondering if its worth taking my yak along.if so,where do i go,what state of tide etc. and how strong is the tide pull over that side of the channel.any help would be great.cheers:g:

there are strong tidal currents in that area, there is a lot of water moving over shallow ground. You could try Blue Anchor bay, you would be out of the main run of tide and it produces some good fish.
