the albion does thwaites, warsteiner, cider and a decent weissbier (name escapes me, although the taste doesn't). food is excellent.
could fish :fishing:from the terrace (if casting over the road!!). other public houses are available:drunk:

I'm going to have to put this one past the FPO first, and then i'll see if i can get holiday's for that weekend.

The flounder fishing at Arnside in November can be fantastic. Lug or rag in any form tipped with a thumb nail size piece of macky will catch you fish. Keep the rigs simple,a one up one down patt will be perfect.

Read somewhere on the previous post that you are thinking of fishing it at low water. if a lot turn up for this would not be a good idea as there are some bad area's of quick sand and anyone not knowing the area could get stuck ...............tony c

i fished arnside this morning. watched the sun come up. beautiful. ended a long blanking session. wonderful. drove home, planning a witty report.
on the radio, coverage of the funeral of a para, killed in afghanistan. the last post was being played as i pulled up at home.
no witty report.
