hi lads and lasses i agree with both comments weed does tend to be a problem at sea cadets at best of times and the wall can fish well but can be iffey big jimmy morgan is the expert on this mark and i would take advice off him as per what it fishes like at the time of a match only my thoughts.tightlines.bob

well lads and lasses just got back from 2 weeks fishing in brittany.looking like it`s going to be 2/3 august at the gynn for the rematch lancashire/cumbria i for one are looking forward to it but can we start getting a list of who is defo coming to the match as i have one or two things to sort out i do not want to turn this match into a fish and eat but i will be putting life savers on (burger and onion limited amount) only so bring your own grub for just yourself and money raised will go into the pot i can get cones for places as we need to keep the distance between much the same as the first match not to near together,1 angler from each team to fish together,1 rod 2hook limit. as usuall if peeps can bring sumat for raffle a bit of anything bottle or tackle as if we dont have any prizes it no point haveing a raffle fishysteve good of you to bring the score sheets i was going to ask you to e-mail them to me so i could copy them.well lads and lasses it is up to you do you want it like this other suggestions wellcome but keep them simple date and location seem to be set now a time needed come on you local chaps give us a clue thats it for now.

Try this link for directions once you're close to Blackpool............. If you're coming down the A6 and turn off at the Blackpool turn after Gartang you'll come into Blackpool along "Garstang Road" then keep going towards the sea (straight on more or less)...OR... If you're coming down the M55 then carry on along "Yeadon way" into Blackpool central, get to the prom (you'll see it) ........... then whichever route you took turn north (right) and head up to Gynn Square roundabout along QUEENS PROM .(about 1 mile) (it's the ONLY roundabout you'll encounter!) As you approach the roundabout (25 yds away) look towards the sea (your left) and you'll see an entry down onto "Lower Prom"..... if you get down to the lower walk head North again and that is the area we'll be fishing (I THINK)

hi phil same as the cumbria lads did at the first match pegged spots 1 man from each team fish together drawn at random before match, each measure each others catch and record it ,sheets will be provided thanks to the cumbria lads,1 rod per angler,2 hook limit match to start at 10.00 till 2.00ish this deppends on the cumbria lads as they have a long trek back meet early 8.30 ish to draw places £5 entry fee ,grub will be on sale at cost and all the money raised at this match will be going to charity keep your eyes on here for any updates tightlines.bob
