River Taff, South Wales Info

hi, any fly anglers here know anything about the lower stretches of the Taff, i'm looking for info on free stretches or anything not owned by GLAMORGAN anglers. also any info about someone who owns the stretch near treforest industrial estate.

Gary Evans could give you advice on the stretches you're interested in, also try Cliff Harvey (01443 400766) as he's quite knowledgeable on fishing the Taff.

from the ely bridge down to the sea is free, saw plenty of mullet and trout rising there a couple of weeks ago. also before the m4 bridge at tongwynlais is also free, which happens t be a 5 minute walk from my house. but as said pop into garrys in cardiff and have a word there, they know exactly which club 'owns' which stretches.
