advice on shore fishing at the bay of maimon on dominican

Hi All

Can anyone advise me on how to fish this location on the dominican republic.
I m due out there in september and on the brosure it looks good there with all the rocks.
Went to punta cana last year and went on a charter boat and had a good day out,skipper and crew were very good.
But i want to try this venue from the shore.
So any advice would be most welcome.
