Bit late this report as I have only just found this section!
I got a WS Tarpon 130t for myself and the misses to get out and about in. It means I can fish and we can spend time together exploring the west cornwall coast, which keeps us both happy:clap3:.
Went out from Lamorna for our first proper fishing session last month before this spell of cr4p windy weather came in.
Had lots of Mackeral on a dexter and tinsels, just kept three as that was all we needed for dinner on the BBQ and a few nice pollack (only kept one for a fish pie) caught with Firetail Jelly Worms.

We are very pleased with the Yak. It is very stable, paddles well and tracks nicely. It is also nice and roomy for two people with plenty of space on deck to add accesories. I have since added a fishfinder and can't wait for the weather to improve so we can get out again.
Looking forward to doing some plugging for bass this summer and was also thinking about doing some livebaiting for them. Does anyone have any livebait system they use that they tow behind the Yak, I don't really want to have to cut any holes to create an onboard system?
Cheers
