View Full Version : Meet? Skegness area 18-20th July
Hey all
I'll be up in the Skegness area next weekend.
Anyone fancy a meet-up? The only evening I personally can't do is the Saturday as I've got a stag night to attend.
Cheers
Sean

just remembered its the smoothound open on saturday night so the beaches will be busy so any other time will be better cheers Andy
Friday or Sunday then. Friday's tide is 19:33 BST.
I'm up for and will probably fish both.
Maybe Friday's best - there won't be any fish left after the smoothy open!
Cheers
Sean
I think the smoothy open is to be at Moggs Eye,
Don't worry Sean they have to put them back......

I was hoping to get to Skegness this weekend so I thought if I knew where you were meeting I could come and watch the experts and get some tips.
I fancy Huttoft Car Terrace again, or maybe Trunch lane?
Thoughts?
Harry - you are more than welcome to fish with us "experts", although I can think of more accurate terms to use to define our fishing skills! :lmao:
Simmo, Andy, LincsM'aire - Friday or Sunday then? I'll probably be in need of something to blow the stag night's cobwebs away by Sunday!!
Cheers
Sean
Hello Sean,
I can only do sunday and that will be a push cos I'm on nights saturday.
Trunch or Huttoft is fine with me and don't forget your sick bag....:yucky:
Hope to see ya soon....Simmo...:marinheir

Good luck all.............
Sadly, can't make this one,as it is a bit of a pain at the minute, saving up for the holiday next weekend at Caister.........
Once the holiday is out of the way,and I know where I am regarding wonga, will definitely find a day to copme and fish, and make a full day of it,seeing as our gert can wander about the town looking in shops to her hearts content........

Bit of a heads up for the road situation this weekend.
Apparently the (old Roman Bank) road between Sandilands and Huttoft will be closed this weekend for some as yet unknown (to me) reason. Can you elaborate, Paul or Andy? Just in case anyone had plans to use the coastal road in that area to get to Six Marshes.
By the way, can someone tell me how many cars can get on the Six Marshes car park?
Cheers
Sean

Cool, it will be nice to meet a new face Iain! I'll be the one with the blue seat box emblazoned with WSF stickers.

Cant make Sunday as I was going to Skegg Fri/Sat as I have to be back for the pheasants coming 7am Sunday for our syndicate. I hope you all have a good time and I will catch you another day to get some great tips off the East Coast Experts.
Harry, I'm fishing on Friday at Sutton-on-Sea (a half hour drive north from Skeg).
If you're around I'll be there from low water (lunchtime) until high water.
PM me if you fancy it and I'll send you directions and my moby number mate.
Cheers
Sean
