thinking of a trip to Belize next year is anyone else interested ?
info here http://www.steppingstonesbelize.com/index.php
flights to belize are around £600 per person, cost for 2 weeks for 2 people is around $3000, thats not including the boat trips out but the fishing is amazing from a kayak or the beach so not much need for many trips out past the reef, boat trips cost about $350 per day

you should get a few then Les I thought of cuba but the fishing from belize is suposed to be even better !
it would of been cuba if my mrs was coming to
Went to Belize last year on a diving holiday and wished I'd taken a fishing rod with me... I stayed at Caye Caulker, which is an island off the coast, north of Belize City.
The fish life was amazing and there was a jetty right outside our hotel... virtually every night the locals were down there catching red snapper and the odd barracuda, but the nights I walked down for a look there were giant stingrays (some were easily 80lb plus) Spotted Eagle Rays, Tarpon, Barracuda, Nurse Sharks and loads of other stuff swimming around behind where the locals were fishing!... made me dribble I can tell you!
I went snorkelling off the end of that same jetty one afternoon and about 20 yards off, in about 10ft of water, I saw an absolutely massive shoal of Bonefish, thousands of them, mostly 2-5lb size fish but with a few double figure fish thrown in!... absolutely one of the most amazing sights I witnessed.
Would love to go again with a fishing rod in hand but unfortunately my budget can't stretch to going in the near future I'm afraid.
Sure you'll have a great trip if you go.

its all provisionally booked we fly from manchester on 30th March and arrive back on 16th April.
Just the 2 of us at the moment anyone else interested let me know, the booking doesn't need tobe paid untill the end of october, as for spending money there is nothing to spend anything on where we are going, only trips out fishing with the guides, $350 per day for 2 people.
I can't wait to get over there after the weather and fishing we have had round here this summer !

typical cumbrian trick, they cant win one on one so they have to make it 2-1,bring it on-- ps beachy watch the film "the ruins" not rescuing you from any blow pipe carrying locals.and you and steve can do the peddling when we brave the cruel caribbean sea in search of monsters. i,ll keep dixey
