cancun

hey all, im going to cancun with the mrs in a few weeks and i fancy doing a bit of fishing, im not that experienced but i fancy having a go for barracuda in fact il have a go for anything.lol. Any advice? i am up for trying from the shore or by boat if thats available. What kinda kit will i need for the shore? im coming from scotland so howfing all my stuff over isnt really practical but i dont mind buying bits and pieces over there such as wire traces or spinners etc. Any advice would be much appreciated, although the mrs will porbably have a hissy fit if i leave her by the pool on her lonesome while im off fishing but a nice big barracuda may lighten her mood :). thanks a lot! tight lines

Hi Kingfisher,,,,,,,,cancun has very nice fishing shops and You'll find cheaper equipment there for sure,,,,I've been in cancun manytimes but I haven't tried fishing there but you can check in this forum

if you make some friends before going you'll have great fun there,,,,mexicans are very friendly and some of them have boat,cayak
