The comp is a really good one to fish as if you get a Bass that weighs, you're in with a prize (9 times out of ten!).

i entered the last grenville open with a jammy pollack and winkled out a floaty suit, so lets hope the luck stays eh

Standard CFSA one-day competition rules i.e. max 2 rods with max of 3 hooks between the 2 rods (pennel hooked baits and trebles e.g. on plugs count as 1 hook).

Minimum weight for Bass is 2lb 8oz (1.134 kg).

No, it's a shore competition only and always has been. It might not be a bad idea though.
