I need a new set of the black rubber band's for my magnetic rod carrier (for on the car). The old one's are looking a bit perished.

Any help would be much appreciated

You could try a camping shop, they have large rubber bands about 2mm x 8mm wide in various lengths for tensioning guy lines.

Probably completely irrelevant in this country, but on the continent holding down anything on the roof with rubber bands/ stretch shock cords voids any insurance claim cover - including third party, so the bloke following you & getting a winscreen full of rods, etc., sues you directly, and you're lost rods are your affair.

We had to use either ratchet/toothed clamp CE approved fastening bands, or approved rope (see tiny print in the hundreds of pages of useless garbage in the policy)
