i have pre-booked a weekend up at L.A with matty over two days hunting for skate price it will be £90 for both days
will be 4 places on each boat two boats availble if you've seen davy holts skate pics then you'll know what to expect (hopefully)

I book Achranich for the 5 week period and split the cost amongst the anglers. It will work out at about £20 per head per night.

The accommodation is ideal with good self catering facilities, a roaring wood fire in the big lounge and a huge sit round table in the kitchen where many a good tale has been told.



What sort of gear would be required? Rods, reels and BS line?

Regards tackle 50lb tackle is adequate. We normally use a 70 braid.

I have plenty of rods and reels available.

I will send Adey's some details which should answer most your questions. He can send it out to you all

No doubt there will be a few told.
I will never forget last year when we were rowing out in the punt to the mooring against a head on force 4/5 moving an inch a stroke :boat::giveup:

Ok I was just wondering in case it was the dive centre that you had booked, the word is up there is that the dive centre are now giving preference to divers booking the dive centres boat.

If the trip is cancelled it's the first I have heard about it. I can only assume it is something to do with the accommodation. I had booked Ardtornish as usual only to be told at a later date that the price had gone up from £600 a week to £1200

I have never made any money out of house and this year it would have meant me being considerably out of pocket

I have been looking for something suitable since then but it is not easy to find. I am quite happy for the trip to go ahead but you would all have to find your own accommodation.

We have found alterative accomodation that is 25 pounds ahead apose to 20! 5 difference that is all. Two cottages have been booked so yes foxy mate the 8 would of had beds
