any 1 see the 30lb salmon in the daily record today 21st november wit a BEAUTY wis caught on a floating devon minnow thats just wetting my appitite for the start of the season on the teith

i was watchin matt hayes the other day in the great rod race and he was in ireland fishing for salmon and the guy he was with he said the only way to catch a salmon is on the fly wich is total crap

ive had big fish on fly and spinner and its just as good on any but a 30lb would nice thoe on the slab

Naa you got it all wrong lads............a bunch of trebles & lead core line is the way ahead lol..

Seriously tho, I tend to fish what I think may work on the day, fluff, spinner or worm.

a salmon on the fly is way better fun than on a spinning rod. i do both and enjoy both but on fly it is definitely better fun.
