:fishing1::help:hello guys ,i have come to lovely QLD ,and need some help learning to fish in OZ ,i have got some idea but dont know which fish are harmful and wich ones are not ,i enjoy both fresh and sea fishing here ,any one that can give me some pointers in what fish to avoid and what rigs to use ,for any type of fishing ,i have brought my sea rods from UK ,and would be greatful of any help or advice you guys can give a poor fisherman out of his pond and in a better pond with real fish in it ,thanks guys .my name is Pete

It was my first trip as well.Some great fishing there.Have a read through my reports,you may get some ideas from them :thumbs:

Try this lot. 1st one should have good detail for you pineapple heads over Qld way.

i have to come to qld??????????sound like a big effort......one of the most beautiful places in the world......anyway if you are going to the sunshine coast and in particular mooloolaba or maroochidore send me a pm i'll tell you about that area...

Id luv 2 come down and have a fish, but I have a little problem as in, Im going to New Zealand for some fishing :P

it's meant to be even better than australia, good luck with that, i will be going to fiji for a week while in oz, really looking forward as i've never been b4, also the fishing is meant to amazing.
