View Full Version : 24hr boat trip Cairns 7th jan 09
With much anticipation and preparation after 2 previously unsucessful trips from the boat in December, things were looking up :clap3: well they was until we started heading out in a friends boat, only for him to informed me he hasn't got round to purchasing a GPS for the boat yet :cry::crazy::shutup:
So to cut a long story short we caught a few sweetlips, a spanish mackerel and this shark.

By all counts, I think we done quite well after speaking to several fellow boat anglers, they had either caught nothing or said that they had spoken to other anglers who hadn't caught much either.
To be honest I think with the water temperature being nearly 30 degrees the fish might be furthur out in cooler waters, but time will tell.
