Lads
while away been thinking of a few ideas for mabey a comp plugging and general lure fishing over here come up with some ideas of a three day aggergate event with largish entry for some great prizes and money pay outs but this would be down to an entry of 15/25 anglers with a entry fee, optional pool for longest bass/and other species fished on 3 fixed venues on a rotation basis
just a couple of pointers what imput can you lads come up with and would anybody be interested in a comp in ireland like this ,,,
i would garuentee a few fish,,,,,,,,,promise

This going to be great, meeting everyone I mean, the fishin will be a bonus to me. Kareoke in suspenders it is then!! I'll be your private dancer, a dancer for money and any old music will do!!!
I should think with your tackle tucked behind you'll be walking a little like Tina Turner dances
Was planning a trip this year to Ireland, so just let us know the dates.
I'm gonna divorce the wife and three kids so I can get out more

Lads thanks for the responses,,
i was thinking around the 3,4,5,6 july,,with lure only
2 comps or three fished at the correct times time tide etc on top Bass marks
entry fee will be 50 euro per rod
all anglers will fish the same allocated areas on a pegged rotation basis making it equal for all,,
all fish will be measured recorded on your card and returned alive
all other rules irish federation of sea angling rules to this comp will apply
the aggregate length from the thee comps will be the winner
bass only
there also will be
20 euro ,,,biggest overall Bass
20 euro ,,,biggest other fish
over the three days 100% payout
what do you lads recon to the format??:headhurt::headhurt:

I will be there 100% mate, can I please book the room Tevor had last time if it is still available? Tom and I were coming that week anyway (spooky!), so I look forward to the challenge. So are you going to stick to about 20 - 25 anglers tops, to keep the marks fairly un cluttered by loads of dirty pluggers?

Wow wow wow there a minute Mr Hollyhock, who said you were pickin the teams? What if I wanted Gee? Will we do a line up like when picking teams at school? I gotta be a captain cos no ****er will pick me!!! Anyway you can have him, I have my secret weapon, the human broom is threatening to raise his moustache for the occasion. This year though he is taking a snorkel, he will be like a walrus, the fish won't have a chance, coo-coo-ca-choo. Did you see the full page picture of him in this months Sea Angler? He is very good, and he is on MY team.
