Weymouth Lure Bass Festival 2009

[Plugs & Runs]

The Weymouth Lure Bass Festival 2009, will be on the friday 4th september to sunday 6th of september. It will start at 4pm on the friday, have an interim weigh in on the saturday and finish with the final weigh in at 4pm on the sunday. There will an evening prize presentation night on the sunday from 730pm. Prizes will include a Tenryu spinning rod, trophies/tankards, various tackle prizes, optional pools entry, pairs prizes.

The cost will be £9 single entry, or £20 Pairs entry.
This will fished as a rover, within the weymouth & portland area. All entrants must over 18 to enter.

The information packs are now ready, so if you could pm your postal details I will send you an info pack which contains the entry form.

This festival will be capped at around 200, so it will be on a first come basis. There has already been 85 information packs sent to various tackle shops and clubs around the south coast. So please book in early to guarantee entry.

When people have entered I will start a list of attending names.

I sent a guy in Dorset an info pack today!! How weird, the pack has traveled from Weymouth to Jersey then back to Poole. Like Mike says if youre interested then let him know because the spaces are limited and its going to be a good weekend.

Hey Gee, no worries about asking. The fishing starts after you get your registration card from 4pm on the friday. You can fish when you want until 4pm on the Sunday. When it comes to the pairs, you weigh-in the two heaviest fish from your pair. If one of the pair catches twice and other doesn't then you just weigh-in the two fish for the pair. Mike:victory:

No probelm gee, individual heaviest fish for the outright winner. So if one angler from the pair catches a good one it counts for his pair entry and also the overall heaviest. Forget the previous rambling, voice of a broken man...lol. :crazy:

If a pairs angler catches a decent fish then he stands a good chance winning the festivals heaviest and also the pairs.
