Hi Can Someone Tell Me How It Is Fishing In Newquay As I Am Going There For Bass In May To Do Some Spining, And Were The Best Place Would Be To Go Thanxjohn.brushright@ntlworld.com
There's quite a few decent spots for spinning or plugging for bass around Newquay. Little Fistral, South Fistral, Cribba point and Crantock river-mouth can come up with the goods in the right conditions, there's also loads of nice isolated rock marks just outside Newquay if you get out your OS map and do some exploring, look for shallow points with surf breaking on them. Good Luck!

many thanks for your reply, im going to stay at the waters edge apartments so i will be near fistral beach, so is there any good spots near there???
Waters edge apartments are right next to Little Fistral. You can plug off the rocks on the right hand side of the bay, the waters about 6ft deep and a little snaggy but this venue can be pretty good if there's a bit of swell running, it becomes unfishable in over about 3ft of surf though.
