Anyone know the results of the Tamar flounder match this weekend just gone?.
Fished the Millbrook area myself, with my boy and his mate, and blanked but the three lads fishing alongside of us managed two, the best around the 3lb mark.
We packed up early, about 4.30, with the intention of getting something to eat (for the kids) and drink (a pint for me) before the weigh-in. But on reaching Anthony village we found the Torpoint road closed and blocked by a police car so were forced to go the long way round via the Tamar bridge. Didn`t bother with the weigh-in after that as couldn`t be arsed with queueing for the ferry to get back to Torpoint again.
Not sure what time matey with the 3lber was intending to leave Millbrook but if he left it late`ish it would have been doubtful if he made the weigh-in on time. Would have been a shame if he didn`t.
