some of the shakespeare are good.theres one which the oracle and got very good reviews and got best alround in test,
just had a look on ebay;
new 15' greys g-series 119 freep&p
15' shakes oracle 108 and theres one for 69 brand new buy it now.
scierra matuka 14' 1" for 103
and theres plenty more.
if it were me greys or shakespeare if your spending around 120.
shakespeare you get alot of rod for your money no matter what you buy.

why only 12 foot, you may as well just use a single handed rod, ie: an11' 3'' Diawa, the advantage of a longer rod around 15' is to be able to stay in the side and control the travel of the fly better, the 15' 4pc shakespeare oricle would take some beating for performance and value

Have a look at Lochside Tackle, their in Linlithgow, West Lothian
Tel 01506 671477

They've got the Shakespeare Oracle IV Salmon Fly Rod at a knock down price

I've used the 10ft'er for the trout, it's got a good action for a budget priced rod :thumbs:

I love greys and have a G-tec salmon rod but if your on a budget you can't go wrong with the shakespeare oracle. i met a guy on the spey last year who independantly test the best salmon rods in the world for the makers and he uses the shakespeare for his own fishing!!
