mount edgcombe?

hi

new to this forum..

has anyone fished barn pool at mount edgcombe??
me and my mate have been fishing it about 4 times now using rag and fishstrips,
have had wrasse to about 1.5lb, doggies,small pout and whiting..

is it worth staying at this ven or should we move on??

have fished cremyll loads of time but nothing to set the heart racing...

I had my biggest thornie out of the middle of barn pool, about 8 pounds, on live prawn. The upstream corner of the pool can be wicked for wrasse as well, with a fish a cast at the right time. My mate had a nice bass from Mashfords just upstream of barn pool a few weeks ago. to be honest if your catching fish in barn pool I'd stick with it as most spots are really quiet at the moment.

would just like to say thanks for replys....
seems like i`ll be keeping with the pool then :)

ps: lets hope this cold snap brings the bigger fish into shore(dreaming) :)
