Who's up for a meet on Dover breakwater then??? A night session or day session. Im happy either way. It will be Saurday 23rd May (Not confirmed with DSAA as yet). Poll attahced so you can vote night or day session.

Money in advance (to me via paypal), more than 10 people required if we are to book it for us. If you pay and don't turn up your money is forfeited. That way other anglers wont have to fork out extra for you not turning up. A good venue with the possibility of some nice fish. Never been on the Breakwater before?? Give it a try!

Suggestions or ideas please. And also names of those interested.

If its goint to be cancelled due to the weather, then the addy might be a bit of a mare, plus the tangles during the tide run and a few lost rigs.

if we know its going to be cancelled in advance (due to high winds all week) then somewhere out of the way would be nice, if its cancelled on the day then obviously somewhere local (PoW pier, Deal, Hythe)

i might be up for a bit of that, u shouldnt have to book it if its the weekend though unless you want to reserve some pegs, even then im not sure you have to pay extra. any idea what time the tide is that day?

I think high tide is 11pm. its a highish tide.

As for a backup venue, there are beaches local we could go to i would have thought. Wonder if you can fish deal pier at night?? As a last minute backup?

Sounds like an idea, we could do that as well. I have asked the essex lads for any ideas (see my sticky on this meets forum). Keep em coming!
