iv just been looking at the dates and im down luce bay for the boat meet on here so they will be my days of so i know i will end up working the 1st match,is there any point in me joining the league since i will miss 1st match big splash?
it's a good idea this comp, but i hope it is going to be a yearly comp? because you will get a better turnout next year. i am in the middle of sorting out local meets, with plans in the future to get a bit of sponsersip at some time in the future. so i wish you luck. and please sign me up.
there could possibly be a good turn out for these matchs since they have penn league points and also because the majority are pegged

The whole league clashes with other club matches. Maybe a bit of communication with local clubs or research into what other comps were on at the same time would have been a wise move. I'd love to fish the league but cannot due to other comps I've already commited to. Good idea but maybe a bit more planning should have been put in place. :)

I think you can fish individual matches, If you don't want or cant enter into the league.

You can never please everyone!! There are only so many dates with suitably tides available so you are bound to get a few clashing, the trick is when picking dates is not to clash with a big one were the bulk of the anglers will be going.

i can enter the league kenny but would there be any point with me missing the 1st match bud?

4 out of 5 results count for the league so if you miss one you still have a chance.:showoff:

cool cheers for clearing that up
When arranging the dates we looked at Open matches that were arranged by the federation and other large opens which we didin't want to clash with. Dates picked were as suitable as possible given tides and dates still available. Hopefully next year we can get dates out early in the year when people are sorting out their own calendars and give them the oportunity to arrange around the league matches if they want.

Some people might not be happy if it clashes with internet forum events, but that's kind of irrelevant, as there are a lot more people fish who don't use this website than do!
