With the overheating problem now sorted out on the boat, we ventured out to the reef near green Island for a few hrs, not much to report as the boat still dont av a fish finder yet, but we did catch a few sweetlips, a couple of coral trout and a stripey all fish returned as we never ad a measuring stick.
But good to get out for once :)

I see you don't need a licence in QL bag limit and licence in NSW
