2nd John 'yoda' Vogel Memorial Trophy

The date has been set for this years match, meet/greet..

To be held on Saturday 5th September at Cemlyn Beach..
Fishing will be from 1 hour before LOW WATER to 3 hours after, 5:30pm to 9:30 pm, these being the best times to get the most out of this venue (so i'm told)..
There will be a raffle with all monies raised being donated to R.N.L.I.... I'm sure there will be a few cooking up some food,,, also will be an optional pool for the biggest fish landed during the match..(winner takes all).
There is a large carpark on the beach and just a stones throw from the waters edge, so no lugging your gear miles, (unless you want to, its a big venue)
ALL WELCOME so hope to see you on the 5th to remember Yoda as he'd have liked us to......FISHING.....

As for being a Blue, my 4 Brothers and their lads will be there who are all reds, so im used to takin stick..
Will be a good day out, albeit a long one (gorra drive from near London), there will be a bbq and raffle before the match, were hoping to be on the beach by about 2ish (depending on the traffic :thumbs:)

I've not fished there that many times,,,,,the couple i have i've caught, not big fish, but fish all the same... At the moment it seems nowhere's fishing well...

Shame you cant make it chedder mate, was lookin forward to a crackin bit o banter,,, there's always next year buddy,,,,and theres always these forums to take the pish out of yer when Liverpoo flop big time at end of the season....:thumbdown
If your ever thinkin of a trip to the south coast give us a shout an i'll see if i can join yer,,:fishing: as Liz said there should be plenty of piccies taken,, (most bein of me pickin up the trophy, of course:1a:)
