fished low to just over high close to the marina. caught two flounder and lost one close to the wall.

can you catch smooth hounds any were in liverpool area thanks

I have heard about the odd one turning up off the shore in summer at Perch Rock. Probably attracted by the crabs in the Rock channel ?

Hi Guys

You do get smoothhounds in Liverpool but you need a boat most of the time.There can be large amounts of them on the far side of Burbo bank, look for the bottom gutters of the Sandbanks. Once you hit them they are normally there in good numbers and best bait is Crab with Squid on certain days picking out the bigger ones.
