The dates of this Autumn's WSF "Meets Afloat" are:
Thursday 22nd October - Depart 0845
Tuesday 3rd November - Depart 0630
Wednesday 18th November- Depart 0730
Thursday 3rd December - Depart 0700
Thursday 17th December-Depart 0700
The cost will work out at about £36 with 10 fishing. We try, however, to make ten our maximum number and eight our minimum. With eight fishing the price is pro-rata (ie £42.50). Frozen squid is a perfectly adequate bait for the Humber cod and this can be supplied at a very reasonable price - about £3.00 for a day's supply!! Please pm me if you wish to book or would like to ask any more questions.
These "meets" are great fun. The fishing is great fun too and the skipper really values the WSF bookings - his welcome is second to none! However, please make sure when you book that you are aware of the commitment. Sometimes it is totally unavoidable that people have to pull out at the last minute and we will do our best to fill a place. However if this is not possible then the responsibility must stay with individual who made the booking. This is only fair to the others fishing and especially to the skipper who is trying to make a living. So far we have managed to avoid having to ask for a deposit and by and large it has worked..........all except for one of the Tope bookings in July!!!!!
