A few people expressed interest in our open festival this year so thought I would let you know about next years event. Hope that's OK Mods.

The dates are 26 to 30 August to incorporate the bank holiday weekend.
Info of the last one is available via club website in my signature, just click on Festival to see the results form the last few years.

Not sure if there will be a lure specific section but Liam and Gareth from Jersey will tell you all about what they did with the lures this year!!

If you want to know more or ask any questions about the fishing here, I would be pleased to try and help where I can!!

Cheers
Andy

Easy tiger!! We've got wheels, wait til they make them out of rubber though and fill with air!!

Miles of unexplored cliffs with gullies and trenches, weed beds and submerged heads..... (image below)

At present there is not a lure section BUT Liam and Gaz made a mockery of the local bait fishing experts with a couple of 7's on the lures which remain thus far the best local lure fish this year (to my knowledge) which gave them the top visitor prizes and also 7th and 8th place pries in the main event (only a few ounces away from the top 3...).

Lure fishing remains a mystery to most Guerns with an attitude of chuck it out and crank it back being the only way most will consider (there are exceptions of course and some good lure anglers).
