33rd Amble SAC Open shore championship

Sunday January 3rd 2010, fishing from 9.00am to 1.00pm.

Registration at Radcliffe Club, Amble, from 7.00am to 9.00am on the morning of the comp, or from various tackle shops on Saturday 2nd Jan.

Weigh-in is from 1.00pm to 2.00pm at Radcliffe Club.

Entry fee £12 all classes, this includes heaviest fish prizes.

Boundaries are Lynemouth pipe in the south, to Seahouses south pier in the north, excluding Amble pier, the rivers Coquet and Aln.
Disabled anglers will be allowed to fish from the pier with a nominated partner if they wish.

The raffle prizes at the minute include a Samalite headlamp, a Sonik SK4 16' rod, and bottles of spirits, well worth a punt !

Bait can be pre-booked at Amble Angling Centre by contacting Norma on 01665 711200.

Marshalls will be patrolling this years comp, so PLEASE take your litter away with you. There are bins at Radcliffe Club

IMO, the best open in the north east, bondaries have great marks and always a good table and weigh in, with a canny pint and crack afterwards.

All of the NE top anglers usually turn up for this one

hope i get home for it.

There'll be hot food and drinks available before and after, for anybody that's scranny.

Last year the conditions weren't too good, so there were a lot of flatties weighed in, but still a good few codling.

The way things have been going so far this winter, we're expecting a bumper weigh-in.

All the main roads are ok, there's hardly any snow at Amble.

Some of the side roads might be a bit tricky, but the forecast isn't too bad.

If it has to called off, I'll post here tomorrow night, so be sure to check in.

Hope to see yous all on Sunday though.
