The meet is in Scotland, so I want to keep the auction on the Scottish Forum, but if bids come in from elsewhere they will be accepted. Bids will be accepted until 9pm on Friday 8th January. Bids can be placed here, or sent to me by PM. If bidding, and we don't know each other - please send me a PM with your name, email address and phone number (in order to deter anonymous phantom bids).

I will respect privacy if you like and not publish names if you specifically ask me not to.

If I can think of anything else, I'll add it here. Please feel to post any questions and between Stan and I we'll answer them? I'd prefer not to send this rod by post, but can do at the buyer's cost.

I'll add pics of the rod when it's finished.

Bids in increments of at least £5 please. Who'll start me off with £40?

Terry, you could always try a big pile of cow dung :yeah:

As a matter of interest it is "NOT" a trout type 7/8 fly rod it is saltwater, a lot more powerful butt section for the heavy flies and lures, this one I would have no problem putting against a white marlin, in fact I have done, well not this rod but the same one, 60lb (est T & R) took around 30 minutes on 20 test tippet. Afraid your average pike bait (sorry bass) would have no chance.

Actually has two different detachable fighting butts (screw in) one narrow, one butt plug :uhoh::uhoh::yucky::thumbs: ( that`ll get you going)
