11/7/10 Anchorman Bass and Tope fishing (Fully booked)

This is a mixture of Bass and Tope fishing..during the best parts of the tides..we will do some drifting for bass with artificials or sandeel and then the later part of the day we will be dropping the hook to battle with some big growlers..

Can anyone give me some hints as to what is the best type of gear to bring on this trip please. do you use boat/uptide roads for all of it or can you use stuff like spinning gear for the bass with lures?
Also are things like wire traces required for the tope or will high breakage mono be sufficient?

hello fella this is the rig you will need it works for me on the bass tripshttp://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i155/ROCKLING/Mypictures054.jpg and if you use live sandeeluse the same rig but with ust a hook on the end of the snood rods yes go for your uptiders as to tope fishing use around a foot of wire then go to 100lb snoods around 4 feet long tigt lines

sorry fella forgot to say you will neeed leads from 6oz upto 12oz bigger weights if your on the front of the boat and smaller ones if your on the back and dont forget a weak line on your lead because you will be bumpng you lead on the bott tight lines

You will be drifting for bass so either use sidewinders/shads, or sandeel. Doesnt matter if its live eel or not coz the drift will make a dead eel look alive anyway(vibration is what they are after). Dont bother wasting money on crab unless you fancy using it for hounds when you anchor for the tope!!!
