There will be fishing meets starting every month from BOHEMIA to Chaple Point so every one welcome, So hope to see a lot of members on these should be good All new members are very welcome too, And its a friendly meet.

3rd meet sutton on sea 16th may 17:00 tide 19:43 6.5 (FREE)

4th chaple point 25th june 19:00 tide at 20:47 5.9 THATS FREE FOR EVERYONE.

5th meet july 18th meet at 09:00 tide at 10:34 6.5 Huttoft Car Terrace (FREE)

6th meet 8th august meet at 14.30 tide at 16:49 6.2 Chapel Six Marshes (FREE)

The 4th one is free to get more members fishing for smoothhounds etc,thats why that one is free to everyone,
and get the smoothhounds fishermen down told there is a lot of them.

Hi Chris,
A valid Point has been brought up about how the FREE MATCH will be funded,.......

The Barton Contingent should be there when we can,..... be nice to meet some other WSF Members and also to fish for different species to what we catch over at Barton in the summer...

You will have to think how to run the Matches Chris,...maybe some of the other WSF Members may be able to give Chris a hand as to how to run these kind of Gigs.....

The R.N.L.I. Donation is a Very Good Idea Chris .....

Thanks pete, the members pay £2 and the 1st and 2nd split the money no wit all gose to the R.N.L.I.
Or if they dont want to pay can just do a monthly fishing meet if that would be better for everyone,or we can scrap the £2 and just meet and fish.

Hi Chris,
I think that you have made a wise decision as not to have any money change hands,..it will make these meets that you suggested alot more simpler,...the name of the game isnt to make any money for that,s what those big matches are for and those matches are run by people who run them on a regular basis and know what is to be done to keep these matches running smooth without any arguments over money,..
I would think that the main object of those WSF Meets is to get to know your fellow WSF Members and also to pick their brains as to the venue that is chosen so it benefits all without the worry of collecting money, dishing it out and keeping records.

I will try and get a Landy Full of Danglers for you all to take the Pi$$ out of,....No Seriously we would be looking forward to coming.

hi chris it just dawned on me the match (chapel point) 31st march is on a wednesday?? if thats the case who will fish mid week on an evening tide when you have work in the morning? it will be 9pm before you pack up then the drive home for some peeps it could be two hrs ?. im not trying to cause problems chris but you may have to have a think about it being you the master mind of the project. ......si

hi steve im like you ive never fished a match, how do you keep the fish alive do you use keepnet or put them in a bucket? but that would have to be a hell of a bucket if you get a smoothhound lol. maybe chris or someone should point out the rules to us thicko's

All in all i want to get as many members on the beach fishing at once if that is possabile, and hoping its a good turn out and agood day may be do again thats if people are up for it.

It Should be No Problem if I am home on leave but there is work commitments amongst my mates which we would have to take into account,...I think that it could be abit of fun and will help us get to know the different Venues and how to tackle the Target species...

I Thought that the Spirit of this Meet was to have some fun and meet other Forum Members ?.... Not To Worry about Rules or How much Money is on the Table !
All the Negative Vibes could well put other folk off going to this meet ,...But as it is the First one that Chris has put together I think that we all ought to cut him a bit of slack,..I Know that the Week ends would be alot better and the turn out would be more Members of this Forum maybe this is something that Chris Needs to bear in mind for Future Meets,.... So Come on Chaps Rally round...A bit More Support wouldn,t go amiss.

Where Do I Start !!!!!

Sorry Chris but upon checking the dates that you have chosen in more detail,...The 31st March meet is the last wednesday of the month which is the HCA Meeting,so I am afraid that the Barton Contingent will be conspicuous by their absence,...
Sorry Chris but Boating comes First,Shore Fishing is something you do when the weather is too bad to take the boat out or the tides are wrong..
I am away at sea for the one after that, so not looking very good on the WSF Meet front.

Jeff are you going to the HCA Meeting it will be the first one after the Big Cod Humber Open. that is if the WX was o.k. to hold the big Cod open on the 21st of March.
