Hello From Jambojersey
Mick was telling me the first Mackerel has been caught at La Moye shore area, also he caught a Garfish at La Collette Monday, so the mackerel could be in the Harbour very soon, Please have some consideration for the general public don't catch more than you want . I once visited Dover Breakwater and could not believe the stupidity of some of the anglers there mounds up to six feet high left in piles all the way down the Breakwater. " enjoy "

hi,
what is a snipe?

It's a bird, isn't it ?
Either that or an eel (http://www.amonline.net.au/fishes/fishfacts/fish/snipe.htm) from Australia :whistling

There's been Gars in Guernsey pretty much all winter, sawseveral landed today.
Some large Mackerel are coming pff the Schole (sp?) bank, not heard of any off the shore though.
