Sicily

Long way off but I'm going with the family on holiday to Sicily in October. Any decent sea fishing to be had from the shore ? I was going to take my fly rod and spinning rod witha few feathers, lures etc. Anyone know anything about fishing in Sicily. I've tried to find some things out but cannot find anything

Sorry, don't have any specific information but could I suggest that, if no one responds, you try posting to the English forum on http://www.medflyfish.com and the International forum on http://www.ukswff.co.uk. Both focus solely on 'the long rod' but I'm sure their members should be able to give you some sound background information.
