Straits (not STRAIGHTS)

Hi, i had planned to fish 2am till 8am, but got rained off, so i fished 2pm till 8pm (7/5/05) from the point near bangor pier, i had eight doggies, 8 codling (biggest about a pound) and a coaly about a pound, wasnt a bad day in all, stil no bass, but i heard they are showing between the bridges on the straights.

Might be worth trying down past Caernarfon for the 'silver bars'. Plenty showing to Rag and Crab, boat and shore. Mainly small but good sport on light gear, fished close in.

cheers mate, i'l give it a go, transports a bit difficult but i can usually jump on a bus, which is always funny with eight foot of rod in ur hand!!
