<font color='#000000'>try and find a rocky headland with a tide race off the end
and try small spinners or a string of feathers on a flat calm sea
early in the morning or dusk is usually best times

<font color='#000000'>I do most of my mackerel fishing around the Buckie area, but i'm not sure about inverness marks, only 1 way 2 find out and thats 2 explore. Although I live in Inverness I have never fished its coastline. I go as far north as Thurso, east to Peterhead and south to Arbroath.
Peterhead is phenominal for mackerel once they come in.
